my car keys dont turn when in the ignition?

It doesnt appear to be anything like steering wheel lock cause ive been shifting the steering wheel like crazy for a few min, i put the keys in and they just wont turn. Its an older toyota tercell if that means anything. Any help would be appreciated

I had the same problem with a '01 Ford Focus - its usually a worn out ignition switch. Replace it.

What are you driving??? I know Ford Focus (2000) and up have a big problem with ignition swicth locking up.
