We tend to think that today is the present, yesterday is the past, and tomorrow is the future. I know this is kinda crazy, but I'd really like to know what you think about this.
Can today still be today and yesterday at the same time?
Or can today still be today and tomorrow at the same time?
Or can yesterday and tomorrow be today at the same time?
Or...

time is one unit...we just travel through it jumping from point to point....your whole life is stored inside you....

time is related to events, motions, actions, changes and so on...nothing can stand still unless time stops "finish"

only GOD deals with time as one unit...but creatures cannot.

time itself is not important ...what you have to be concerned of is to make "good past, productive present and promising future" along your lifetime.

Well currently, based on my view of the world. I believe I am in the present. each second feels like my present. Due to my mind however, I can go into the future, and lose focus on the current moment, and the present seems to stretch, and feel so passe, so yesterday, and yet, so long it goes into tomorrow.
Additionally, due to time zone differences, it can be "today" and "tomorrow" at the same time. In Australia, it is a different day than in New York.
My goal is to stay in the present, because then everything is more exciting, and free. The present alone is not burdened by the past, because then it is the past and present rolled into one. It does not have the stress of the future. It is just Living Now

Some of us are in different "time zones." Not like Eastern Time, Central Time, etc. But some of us are living in the past, we are tied down. I believe time is the state of mind you are in. We can be forever in the past, living just like we did yesterday. Right now I am in the present, or I am transitioning. I tihnk that after experiencing something tragic, we are in the past until we are able to move into the present, that is, we no longer dwell on things that have happened, and relive them everyday. We can be in the present, leaving what has happened behind and dealing with things with the knowledge we have gained. We can also be in the future, we can be numb to what is happening or we can try to escape what situation we are in. For example, a loved on gets a disease, we avoid what we associate with that person, maybe even the ill person themselves, because we want to skip the painful parts and live in a happier time. Come to think of it, maybe there isnt a present, or maybe the present is ust this very instant and we are either living in the past presently, or in the future presently. There is only one present at a time and it moves to our past, inevitably. We can live in the present as though we are in the future, but eventually the future is upon us and the present we have left becomes the past. Very interesting question, makes me think.

You are trying to think waaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy too much. Yesterday is the past, the exact current time is the present, and tomorrow is the future.

Today is the tomorrow we worried about yesterday (the past). Forgot who originally said this. Anyway, what you are asking is sometimes only a matter of how you perceive time. All the instances you described can be, if you look at them that way.

I haven't thought that deep since my pot smoking days in college. We have to have some sort of guideline, which is why we do say today is present, yesterday past, and tomorrow future.

We are in all three of them.
in my opinion
we think today is present but today can be our past if we look or we are in the future.
yesterday can be the present and future if you are in the day before yesterday
future can be today if yesterday is the past and present

nice question!

Yesterday, I would have answered this in the Future.
Today, I answer it in the Present.
Tomorrow, I will answer it in the Past.
