When or how do you know when there's a sex affender talking to you on the internet?????? My friend said it happened to me once, and luckily I knew better than to give my phone number out to the "girl" that was calling me a bunch of stuff then said that her brother wanted my phone number. She wouldn't tell me where she lived either. Kept lying to me about it. Anyway, so when do you know if there's a sex affender talking to you?????

You don't - never give out your phone number or any other identifying info like address, park near your house, city, NOTHING!

You can never really know and anyone you are talking to online will never give you their real name. But if they are talking to you in an inappropriate way you should tell someone. And please tell someone, there are too many missing children and murdered children, that could have been saved if someone, just one person, spoke up and said something.
Never give out your name/address or phone number to anyone and never put information about where you live or go to school on the Internet ANYWHERE because they will be able to abstract that information and eventually locate you.

you dont, and thats the scary thing. you should just ALWAYS be careful on the internet. there are people that are suspicious, too. like when you were talking to that "girl", she wouldnt give you any information. you were smart to not give her any information (phone number, address, etc.). just dont ever tell anyone any personal information, and youll be fine. be careful, too. be overly careful if you want to, cuz then youll just be more ready to deal with weirdos...lol.

Well you rle can't tell but if they make you feel uncomfortable or keep asking you personal information or questions you don't want to answer, then something is up...

You should be able to deal with relationships outside of the computer.....save the computer for other evils.
