Ok, I don't see any other kids besides him So i was wondering
At age 6 He got his first Computer a Compaq Presairio
at age 7 He Put in a Networking card in it
at age 9 He replaced the CD Thing And the Disk
at age 10 He Replaced the Ram and the Power Supply
at Age 11 He Replaced the CPU And the Motherboard
Ram still Worked On it
Now he's 12 and his friend asked him to build a computer for him, It's Halfway done as the part Company sent Bad RAM, Was broke in half on delivery
so i was wondering,
Is this Normal for a 12 Year old, I am asking because he only has 1
Friend And i don't think a should base it on that
All Of his other Friend's Moved away because of the Tornado's

In this day and age, I wouldn't consider it abnormal. I was using DOS at age five, I installed Windows 3.1 at age 10 and around 11 to 14, I was upgrading my own computers. By 16, I was building them. I'd consider it to be perfectly normal.

It is normal for a 12 year old who is into computers.
I was doing similar things at his age.
I would say fewer than 1 in 30 kids that age would be interested or motiviated to do such things.

Don't worry about it, kids today are VERY computer savvy because they GREW UP with them
