Does anyone know who the stig is on topgear?

I think it maybe either Martin Brundall or Johny Herbert. Martin Brundall works for ITV so my money would have to be on Johny Herbert.

I rekon its James May and last night just made me think it more a few reasons why i think its him.
1) he's never ever in the studio when the sitg is on
2) last year the 3 were driving super cars a ferrari , zonda and a ford gt when the other 2 were going up a mountain in italy he was already on his way back down 'very fast'
3) last night he was doing 250mph in the buguatti and there was not a bother with him he was very calm and i think VW would only trust him doing that speed in such an expensve car.
4) there always takin the piss with him to make him look bad
5) he was ment to drive the rocket car hammond crashed in
6) he seems to be able an be licenced to drive everything planes,boats etc..
thats what i think anyway

The "black" Stig was Perry McCarthy ,
The "white" Stig has been a number of drivers, including Damon Hill, Julian Bailey and Ben Collins .

It is NOT Damon Hill, he was the first Stig, the current one is believed to be Perry McCarthy.
