Self help books?

Most of them seem to state the obvious. But there does seem to be something to seeing it in print. I had one of those "Don't Sweat the Small Stuff" books. After I read it, I carried it in my purse. For some reason, just knowing it was there was helpful.

nah not really, I've read a few and unless you keep reading them they don't do much, most cover the same material anyway, something alternative would be a laugh
