Are the gays systematically using A LOT of envelopes when only one or two would be good. Like mailing in a check they put it in an envelope and then in the return address one and then in a big envelope???

Not necessarily and if the doubling of envelopes is a safety feature this is good but why you dont call them condoms i dont know
