Hi, I am 13. I have a younger sister who is 11 yrs. I have already started puberty but she hasn't. She is saying that her breast buds are killing her most of the time. Either she rolls over on the couch, or she bumps into something. I didn't have theese signs when I started puberty. She has had some discharge for about 5-7 months I guess. At least that is what she said. Can you give me tips on how to help her through theese pre-teen years. HELPPP!! HER AND ME!!! ~Thanks in Advance

All bodies are unique and everyone experiences puberty at different stages in their lives. I had a similar experience with my younger sister when I was growing up- I was a "late bloomer" and she was an "early bloomer". We both just kinda helped each other by talking about what we were going through. It was nice to share my experiences and discomforts with her- just having someone to listen to and talk to about all the changes going on. My advice to you is just to openly talk to your sister, share your experiences and just be there to listen to her. Also, tell her that breast pains are normal- some people get them, some don't. If you feel that something might be a little off, just ask your mom, a parent or an adult for advice.

Good luck!

Tell you sister that pains are perfectly normal for developing breasts, and that puberty is something that everybody has to go through, and she is only about to start. The pains will probably stop when the breasts are partially or completely developed; that happens to most people.

The discharge is not normal, you need to see a doctor. There are many normal things that can cause the pain, but there is nothing normal about the discharge unless she is pregnant and it is breast milk, and i highly doubt that..Please seek professional help..
