No it is not safe to use WD40 for any health related problem. Check with your doctor or naturopath to find a product that will help you. Bursitis is not an arthritic problem and can be helped by proper stretching and strengthening exercises. Ask your doctor for a referral to a physiotherapist or massage therapist. As for the arthritis, stick to doctor recommended products. Good luck.

I have heard of it but don't know if it is safe or actually works. The best way to treat it is to use 100% pure peanut oil. Rub it into the affected areas twice a day. I have tried it and it works wonders! If you can ingest it, it is certainly safe to rub it in.

I have heard of people using it but since it is a petroleum based product I would think it would not be healthy to put it on your skin for extended periods and for frequent use, unless you're the Tin Man.
