"Love is not a feeling, it is something you give."

Love is trust, honesty, commitment, understanding, loyalty and friendship. My husband is my bestfriend in the world. We trust each other, would die for each other, understand each other and are commited to each other. For me there is no other man in this world who could compare to him. We compromise on many different things because we are two totally different people which makes the relationship that much more interesting. Where I am weak, he is strong and vice versa, that way we strengthen each other. I believe that if two people love each other, they can make it work because they will be willing to do anything to keep their love strong. Patients and understanding are two very important things a person has to have. I once heard a saying that said "Misunderstanding breeds distrust" and find some truth to that. My husband and i are each other's bestfriends and I can openly talk to him about any and everything. He knows me better than anyone else in the world and I know him better than anyone else in the world. We have the type of love some people search their whole lives for and don't find.

Love work when 2 people work together to make love work. When times are tough, they need to talk and work things out together. When times are good, they need to celebrate together.

The following is the definition of love.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love is a state of mind and it works by giving you the possibility of sharing feelings, thoughts and even goods, without waiting any retribution for what is given.

Love is getting out of bed at 4am and going to work for your family and being responsible for your family every day/minute of your life. The other versions are just girly crap.
