i mean, i know that popularity means having lots of friends, but some people who have loads of friends aren't like popular at all! i mean, i'm not exactly like "o no i need more friends!" it's just that it seems kinda weird how some things work.

popular actually means well known or liked
popular like in the high school sense revolves around money, status, a cool air, and beauty. this is not always the case but it is kind of sad if you think about it

I guess popularity is based on trends. If you have something that people want, sometimes you are labeled as 'popular' even if no one actually likes you.

i think it depends on where you are like a goth in a really country area probably won't be as popular in the country as a cowboyish person. sometiems it's ur clothes, but ALOT of times it's your personality. funny is always good and kindess too. also being kinda crazy liek not being too closed up, not caring about whta people think of you. i think when people let go of that, they let other people see their real selves and people like that.
