ANY CREATIVE IDEAS??

Should we just make it a little earlier in the day? The only thing is it's going to be warm outside. The later the better.

I should mention that we DO plan on having a tent, but the funds are low so we're looking to cut back. We're paying for everything ourselves and we have thought of ways to cut back on other things as well.

Read this book,

Bridal Bargains: secrets to throwing a fantastic wedding on a realistic budget.

IT will help you to figure out ways to save money.

Second, from experience, I had my wedding on a Sunday to reduce costs and got a free tent because the couple before us couldn't live without it. Usually they are a minimum 2 day rental.

We had a wonderful wedding outside at a vineyard and came away shelling out $5500 bucks. People still rave about the venue, the food and the music.

If you really take the time you can find some really great deals where people would have thought you speant 25000

Lighted Balloons. The lights are called "Balloon Lites" they are reuseable too. Get white balloons (preferably). You will need at least 16" size. Use Qualatex Balloons avail. in any party store.
You can also make a lighted heart with small 5" balloons, but you need to construct a wire frame and get an air blower.

See Balloons Today Magazine to do yourself or get a balloon artist by referral or from phone book (usually avail. in balloon stores).

Do like they do during Christmas. Take lunch size paper bags, fill with sand, insert a candle and light along pathways. Glass jars, like canning jars with tealights in them make a real pretty light. You can get tea lights in big bags like craft stores I beleive. Hanging the same size jars with wire from tree branches make pretty lights. OR just use your clear christmas lights. Beg and borrow.Wrap around trees and branches , they can look spectacular!
