Not necessarily after the first semester but after the first year. I wound up getting a job, that didn't pay great, and then I had to figure out how to pay the bills and school got put on the back burner. I was finally able to scrape up enough money to take a class here and there and was able to get two associates that way. I then got a job where the requirement to get hired on full time was a bachelor's so they help pay a portion of the tuition and I am 1 1/2 quarters away from completing it.
It has taken me 14 years to get the degree because I dropped out when I did. I so regret not finishing when I had the chance because it has just made for a long, hard road since then. I am proud that after all this time I will finally get the degree in hand.

Don´t even think about doing something so stupid.
Yeah, the first year is always the hardest, and sooner or later you´ll face difficulties in you life, that you cant run from. It´s the bad and difficult moments in our life that determines our personality. Study, make yourself proud. accomplish something.
