I like dogs, but there are two that poop in my yard all the time and chase my cats. Any suggestions?

A fence is the best way to keep dogs out of your yard. Did you know that moth balls will keep animals and snakes from coming into your yard? You can buy moth balls at the dollar stores. People in my neighborhood walk their dogs, too, and let them come in my yard to "do their business." My cats get upset. I am planting a hedge along the street.
