I don't think there would be a file format issue.

You have a few options:

Burn them on a CD
don't burn it as a music CD that you play in your car but as a Data CD. Keep the songs in a folder and then burn it that way. Also that way you have a back up CD incase you mess up a song somewhere

Use a Flash Drive:
If each computer has a USB port you can buy a flash drive at a decent price at wal-mart and just move the songs to the drive then unplug and download to the PC. If you have too many songs to fit on one Flash Drive then you'll just have to repeat the process a few times

Use an External Hard Drive:
I've heard about a few external hard drives that are compatible with both pc and mac. I have one for my PC that's 80Gigs of memory space and I got it off of ebay for only $30. I've mainly used it for keeping music and graphics I've created.

Best of Luck!

USB can be used if you are looking at a fairly small amount of data to transfer. Having recently converted all my CDs to mp3s, I think I hit the 9GB mark so a USB thumb drive is definitely out of the question (OK, think a 4GB model is available but I only have a 512MB stick available to me at this time). If you have a significant amount of data, consider using this as an opportunity to burn it to a couple DVDs to archive as well as transfer.

If you are looking for a network transfer, consider this Apple document (http://images.apple.com/business/mac_pc/pdf/xp_osx_10.3_UK.pdf) for enabling the CIFS protocol (Common Internet File System - actually the Microsoft Small Message Block or SMB file system renamed).
