As a black woman who lives in reality, I can honestly tell you that racism will never end because as long as there are different races, lack of knowledge, and hatred there will be racism. People aren't willing to learn about the opposite race enough to understand their struggle. Black people more than anyone need another Martin Luther King, Jr. - we need someone to educate us on our lives in Africa (how we were before America), our progress and just how to make something better for ourself. We, as black people need to learn about everything about Africa & where we come from.

It may lessen as decades pass. I doubt if it will ever end as we will always have those who harbor 'fear' and distrust and bias against anyone who is not like themselves.
Martin Luther King was a great man....he was not savior and no one man can heal all people.
Racism can be addressed through law [as MLK was able to force] - and we can ALL work towards that whenever and wherever we see injustices in the world [workplace, housing, schooling, etc]
But a law cannot change the hearts and souls and psyches of man...only time, education and a willingness to change can do that.

I don't know if it ever will.
Even if racism does end, we will still find ways to create hierarchies by other means.
I think instead of one person making a big difference, we need people to work together to do what they can, even if it's a little.

No. Even if it improves a lot there will still be ignorant people who will still hold racist views. We may have come a long way in our technology and intelligence but we have to remember that there are still people out there that hold old fashioned views and will probably never let go of them.

MOVE THE FUKC ON! it's people like you who get skipped in line at the bank and cry racism that keep it going. you may think you're being discriminated against alot more often than you actually are, but it's because we're trained to look for a time to pull the race card. Slavery ended 142 years ago, GET OVER IT!
