Do you seriously want to know?

Because when a man named Ken starts a manufacturing business and is casting about for a name, using his own name and a word like "craft" can seem not only clever, but good advertising. (Presumably he has a reputation in the industry and calling the company "Kencraft" makes clear just which company is his. In a way calling it Allied Manufacturing does not.) Every little boost counts when starting a business.

Of course, over time he will come to not run the business, if only by dying. Then, there's no reason in the world that the person running it someday might not be called Ian. But the name will not be changed to reflect the name of the current CEO. Naturally, Ian could leave and start his own company. Iancraft. Ianco. Iancorp. Whatever he likes.
