A bad choice. I thought Rhodes and/or Addai should have received the MVP.

No he didnt but he did manage the clock as well as I have ever seen. He took half of the third quarter for a field goal. Thats ball control. When you keep the defense on the field for that long they are not going to be able to continue on. The Colts just played ball control the whole game. And Peyton had the ball in the air a lot. For the rainy conditions Id like to see another QB that good. I mean the Colts owned the Bears their running game was on fire as well as the passing game. Peyton being the leader was bound to get it. Out of 41 Super Bowls the QB has been MVP 21 times. You have to be totally outstanding to beat out the QB for MVP had the Bears won it could have been anyone except the QB haha. Peace out......................

He's the logical choice. We had so many players stand out last night that each could have been an MVP. Can't pick them all, so you go with the guy that lead you there. Manning pulls it all together for the team. It should have been a 6 way tie: Manning, Addai, Sanders, Rhodes, Freeney, Clark. Although, I could list probably 5 more stand out players last night. It was truly a team effort to win that game and the games that got us to that point. Truly a team you can admire. They are all great guys that do a lot for the team and Indianapolis.

Peyton Manning fared well in his performance in the Super Bowl.
Although his numbers were not at all spectatcular, I think he did a good job in the game & in my view, was an excellent choice for Super Bowl MVP. So what if any of you think he was a bad choice or what for MVP. I say get over it & move on!

Ryan's comments are a million of the extra boneheaded comments you'll see. Are you intense? Peyton Manning had Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne for the length of their careers. Harrison and Wayne are #7 and #8 in career yards in NFL history. You suggested Moss makes Brady look good!!. Brady has performed in 5 great Bowls to Manning's 2. Sorry Ryan, great Bowl earrings count number. Knocking Manning out of the playoffs to get to those great Bowls and win counts. Watch Brady's feet contained in the pocket compared to Manning's. Brady has an identical footwork as Montana. as a count number of actuality New England receives to the great Bowl back this year. it truly is late November and Brady is spreading the ball round with a operating decrease back with assistance from committee equipment. in reality Marino replaced the game and performed in an era the position protecting backs would have their way with wr. Marino taking section in in todays tender NFL that protects the QB like a pillow ought to throw for 6,000 yards

Grossman should've been the Colts MVP...nobody did more for the Colts than that guy...

The running back could have won it, he ran for 119 yards, but he didn't score any touchdowns either.

Vinatieri, had he not missed the field goal and extra point, could have won it too.

If no one stood out, it was Manning's....just because.

None of them do for me. Its bad enough they make that much money for entertainment and fun when the military can be on welfare and they are dying for the country they dont need extra recognition.

Rex "Gross, Man" should have been the MVP... His INT throw sealed the game for the Colts.
