i have a job where i do nothing but run from one aisle to the next to get a book or dvd that someone had ordered online thorugh my companys website. im on my feet 10 hours a day!! we wear new balance shoes and they are great for standing/walking. but since you were not prepared for this, hmm i would say to look for an anti-fatigue mat to stand on. trust me, they help tons. (theyre basically a rug, but made of something like padded rubber). and be sure to keep your posture in check and do some stretches too.

This could be because of muscle fatigue or dehydration. Try exercising all parts of your body. It also sometimes is due to disuse atrophy. Consult a doctor if it persists. You can also look for information in the web. I found this website very useful. http://aches.in/cramps.html

Stretch every once in awhile and ask for a mat to stand on. It helps your back when you stand for long periods of time.
