physically, to do things for the betterment of mankind
emotionally, to feel the whole range of feelings that makes us human and humane
but above all, to love and (if we are lucky) be loved in return...

The meaning of life is unconditional love, the essence of our being is unconditional love. our purpose in life is to awaken to our union with God in unconditional love within our hearts. our supreme duty is to express that love to the best of our ability. "God dwells within you as you". As the colors of the rainbow are contained within sunlight, so to are we all contained within the light of Gods love.
