hey all you native americans, hev u guys ever felt outnumbered and stereotyped alot?
*any minority can answer, and my hippies (=im a hippie too =)
i just wanted to know how u guys felt about this...thanks alot guys =)

Any minority? Even one that isn't based on race?
As a "non believer" (religion), oh yes... Just check out the religions & spirituality section...many people talk awful of non believers, and believe only what they think rather then actually let us speak for ourselves...
I may be a 'mostly white' girl, but I know a majority of some form or another can be a real pain to put up with... : (

Well, my grandmother was a Native American. The only time I have ever felt stereotyped is when I meet someone from another part of my country (USA). I have a heavy southern accent, so sometimes people assume things before I've said more than 5 words. I really don't like that..

wow, you are the only race that i have never encountered before, (i dont live in America) and i hardly know anything about you, do you still live on reservations? or is that seen as archaic yet? and yes you are outnumbered, by alot of groups ontop of you, i feel sorry for you, you deserve to be incharge of the land you are from, so no whites or blacks should b in charge of america, like only whites should be in charge of europe, but i dont think there are enough of you left to lead the country now.
oh and i dont feel like a minority here, it is almost completely white, i know 1 black person, and a half caste bangladeshi, if that was part of your question...

I'm in L.A. and surrounded by "la raza" and yet sometime even by my own people I feel outnumbered and stereotyped - I'm in the middle of two worlds!!

Hippies... man, I wished i lived in the 60s too, but unfortunately, i think the hippie lifestlyle would only have survived if everyone was one (kinda like communism)

im pretty white, hope thats ok..... but i have been feeling pretty outnumbered and stereotyped these days..... i am the mnority here in texas.... or should i say tejas...
