Sometimes. this happened to my first and second wife, when they were pregnant. Babies born with no problems, and healthy. They started moving again a couple months later.
But when in doubt, go to the doctor.

I am sure everything is fine. I went through the same thing with my daughter when I was 16 weeks. I felt movement very early and then all of a sudden I did not feel anything for a few days. I ended up having a melt down and called the doc's. She had me come in and listened for the heart beat and we heard it right away along with her swimming around in me. She told me that the baby is still very small and I won't feel every moment yet!! I hope this helps!!

You really shouldn't be concerned about that until you are farther along and feel the movements regularly. Now, it is a confusing part of movements. You will be able to feel them off and on. But later when you feel them regularly, and they stop or you don;t feel them as often then you should get concerned. Just relax........as long as you are caring for yourself the proper way, everything should be fine!~!

I think you should cal l your doc. It's probably nothing as i had this happen when I was further along in the 3rd trimester. the doc checked me out and i was fine. However, this happened to my sister when she was 8 months and when she went to the doc sadly her baby had died. your baby is probably just sleeping but to ease your mind call you doc and get checked out.

Drink some orange juice (or something else sweet) and then lay down for an hour....during that hour you will probaby feel him moving around as the sugar hits HIS system. (Or her if it is a girl!)
If you do this twice today and still don't feel anything....I would call your Dr. just to be wise.

things are probably just fine... i experienced the same thing. however, you should *definitely* check in with your doctor. hearing the baby's heartbeat will make you feel so much better, and then you'll be able to relax: much healthier for your baby! good luck!
