Yes. How else can you tell if you are compatible with the other person for the rest of your life.

If you find that the sex stinks, then you can use one of the many lines out there to break up like:

We are not compatible
I'm not ready for a commitment
I need to find myself
etc.

The list goes on and on, but bottom line, they mean that you want to screw other people.

So you need to test drive the car, or lots of cars before you buy one. Oh, and by the way, when the car starts to run like crap, don't even think about a trade in. This will cost you at least half of everthing. Stupid cars!

no what is most important is getting to really know the person we are going to marry, alot of talking and discussing beliefs, finding out about the person's character, and every thing we can about the future marriage prospect, if we put sex in there the marriage will be based on lust and sex, and once the honeymoon stage ends and it always does, if we haven't gotten to know that person, or we have based our love on just the sex part, we will run into problems. we have to avoid the sex part, completely if we can, until marriage. we want to get to know the real person we are marrying. anyone not willing to do it our way isn't really worth having, as they were out for just the sex part anyway and not really a good choice.

Yes - you wouldn't buy a car before a test drive would you? Of course not.
Don't pick a spouse before kicking the tires around either. I've got a buddy who married before sex and he had an affair 6 months into it because his wife was not into sex at all - and it hurt his heart. He divorced her within a year.
All over bad sex.
Test drive it first - then if it's good - marry it.

i feel that sex is not a key factor in marriage. It is not necessary to have sex before you get married but it is a bonus to the marriage

I think it is very important! My first husband and I married young and we were not compatible at all... My second husband and I fit like a glove!
