you probably should also try aromatheraphy, lavender. What about a massage? massage is a great relaxation. sleep 8 hours or more. bathe in warm water with calming oil, like lavender. or just take a shower using warm water. The babies gets comforted by the sound of the water falling, plus the warm mist that the water makes. why not adults? it works for me. that's why my husband bickers about my long showers. lol. dim the lights before going to bed, usually 1 hour before. and turn off everything that makes noise (TV, radio etc). personally, i usually fall asleep 30 mins-1 hour after going to bed.

i read from my Dreams book to try breathing in while counting 1,2,3,4. hold breath. then breathe out, count 4,3,2,1. i tried it, and it works. it's very relaxing. meditation. stretching too helps your body to relax. whenever i wake up in the middle of the night and can't go back to sleep, i stretch and a few minutes later i fall back to sleep. it releases all the tension from daily work.

well, good luck.

Do you mean 'sleep walk'?

Promote rest by plenty of appropriate physical activity during the day, to get the physical body tired.

Also promote the mental and spiritual side of the person with literature and tapes that are about stuff that interests the person. Playing board games that stimulate the mind can help prepare the person for a restful sleep.

And the sleep walking - never had to deal with that . . . chekc with the doctor, maybe?
