Who should perform at next year's superbowl halftime show? I mean c'mon, it's not like somebody is going to repeat janet's b*ooby slip. (then again, someone might do it better...) Paul McCartney and Prince are good and all, but think about the younger generation.
I was thinking of a group like Panic! At the Disco but they already performed on new year's eve. Or maybe Jay-Z....or fort minor...their song 'remember the name' is a perfect song for the superbowl (actually it's already taken by the NBA)

Prince was amazing. I'm 24 and I think he trancends generations, but I feel ya on the Paul McCartney. He's too old for our generation. Panic! is cool, but they don't really have a mass crossover appeal. Black Eyed Peas are always a safe choice, if you mix them with someone like Nelly or Nelly Futado, you could have a good show. I would like to see something totally off the wall like Nelly Furtado, Rascal Flatts, T.I. and Mary J. Blige together. And you can NEVER go wrong with Mariah Carey, or who knows maybe Whitney Houston can stage her comeback at next years show. Now that would be entertainment.

I totally agree, they should start looking to appeal younger crowds. I mean don't get me wrong I love the older music but look at last year's half time show... Rolling Stones?

Yes they were good, they are just coming in for overkill now. I thought they were awful last year. They should seriously think about retiring. They are to old for this sh*t.

Now I don't think they should go with Nelly Frutado, Mariah Carey or any of those emo bands like Panic! either. They are to whimpy for this. You need some loud rock for football. Maybe like the Foo Fighters (Since Prince already covered one of their songs last night which was so gay.) or Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Even though I really dislike rap I think that would have been a better choice then Prince or the Rolling Stones.

I think the Foo Fighters and Red Hot Chili Peppers have a big enough fan base to play at the superbowl unlike Nelly Frutado or Panic!.

I think Seether should play at the superbowl. Rock music goes hand in hand with football. Or even the Goo Goo dolls or someother great rock band

Panic! at the disco is annoying in concert! they need the work done in the studio. I would like to see the Pussycat Dolls, Gwen Stefani, or NERD in concert. All 3 give great concerts with lots of creative energy.

I'm with you, that stupid boob slip ruined it for everybody, now they are doing the "safe" thing, you're right, that probably won't happen again, and they should hire better talent for the 1/2 time show.
