need halp w/ school work

It's risky, depending on what they focus on. My dad is a farmer and he raises cattle for example, but a lot of farmers also grow crops which they can sell indivualily, to local sellers or for exceptionally large farms-companies. A lot of farmers don't make very much just farming and often have an additional job as well. Farmers also make/sell hay, firewood, sell sheep wool etc.

As for the job market, its always in demand. To get started you'll need to buy land (expensive, depending on where you live), buy seeds to plant, build fence for livestock etc. The major plus is that they grow most of their own food so food is never a concern.

Agriculture is SO much more than farming. I have a degree in Agriculture, and have worked in scientific research, technical support (products and software), and now work in marketing for a large agricultural distribution company.
