I saw him with his dog and watched them play. He was so connected to the animal. I wanted to leave but the dog suddenly came to me and we started talking. I have learned alot from him. How to enjoye, let go and just live a happy life.

I don't know the thing that did it. But I realized that I was in love once evening while talking about him. He makes me feel safe, he makes me feel understood, he makes me feel important. I suddenly want to be a better person, and want to give him everything in the world. He feels the same way. Love is not about the physical connection (although it's important).

True love is much deeper, and it's actually possible that they've gotten to that point even if they've never looked each other in the eye.

Pheromones along with an emotional magnetic pull and we're still married for the past 23 (almost) years. What's more we were never engaged and we never dated. I have to say in all truth and honesty it took some time to actually fall in love that happened during the course of the marriage.

To love someone, you have to make a connection first. Normally it's by talking. I fell in love with my husband after our first date and we talked about all the things we wanted out of life and they were the same. I believe if the date had ended without that conversation we wouldn't be married today.

Of course the first thing was his looks... I would not of pursued him if I didn't find him even a little attractive. Then of course it was his shy nature, so quiet and polite I simply wanted to rough him up. The quiet shy ones with some hidden dominance get me going every time.

Everyday I looked forward to seeing him with great anticipation and he too, must of fell in love very fast for suddenly he wanted to be engaged.

I was interested from the first moment because of his looks but when I saw him acting like a total clown in public just to make his 2 year old brother laugh, I knew I had to get to know him.

Mainly, the way we clicked, how I felt when I was with him or even just talking on the phone. Not wanting to be without him, but feeling like I could completely be myself with him.

I will say that despite his good looks and love of children, if he had treated me badly, I would not be married to him. Or if we just didn't "fit."

So yes, it was love at first sight (complete with the flippy stomach and butterflies) but I fell more in love as I got to know him.

I think it depends on how they meet and what the guys status is at that moment meaning a couple meet at a club with no idea what the others monetary status is but they just click, or a girl being introduced to a guy not knowing either. Then theres the case if the girl knows what the guys status is and pursues him and thats the main reason or just an added bonus of wanting to date him.

On our first date, he gave me serious eye contact and actually listened. He wasn't afraid to talk about himself but didn't do it to excess. He's interested in others, animals, family and is an all-around good guy. I'm one of the luckiest women in the world.

there is a huge difference between what makes you attracted to someone and what makes you actually in love with them. i highly doubt that your friend is in love...

i was attracted to my girlfriend because she had cool colorful hair and was butch like me. i fell in love with her because she is the smartest person i have ever met and because we have so much in common. and she's good in bed. :) But the two things are vastly different. If your friend has never spoken to him, she's just infatuated.
