im snowed in and cant get to the hospital till tomoorow..she has a umbilical hernia and her umbilical cord fell off in the first week but last night it started bleeding...what should i do to keep the bleeding to a minimum?

No way of getting out at all?
Call 911 and ask to be put in touch with a EMT, they can better advise you.
Don't wait too long to do this though.

Go to the doctor tomorrow or call the consulting nurse of your doctors office and tell her what going on and ask for her advice. Or try 911.

you can call a squad to take you to the hospital if the bleeding cant be stopped. It doesnt take much blood at all for a newborn to bleed out. If you cant stop the bleeding, call a squad.
