if you had expierience with a rogue and a hunter then pease tell me : if mainly i wanna do BG's, be VERY good in raids, and be able to solo lower level instances pretty well, would a rogue or a hunter be better? i want a rogue badly but i dont know if it is true that they only survive with healers and die by themselfs. is it? thanks

Both classes are good at soloing stuff. The hunter had a pet to assist them. A rogue has the ability to stealth, and can sap enemies to control them. they also have abilites called vanish (which lets them disappear in a poof of smoke and get away from an enemy) and distract (which distracts the enemy for them to get away. But Stealth is the most useful ability for soloing. there is a rogue in my guild that used to stealth run down the the black forge in BRD to smelt dark Iron (it's a 52+ dungeon, and he did this at 60) you just have to have patience, and be careful while stealthing.

Hey whats new? I have a 85 levels of experience with Hunters ie lvl 56 Hunter (Mysery) and lvl 36 Hunter (Suffer) Draka Realm. I can say that Hunters are at least for me ideal for soloing especially if you put your talent points into making your pet as powerful as possible. I am currently putting talents into my markmanship before going over to beast mastery but I have found that your shots will do a lot of crits thus making it difficult for your pets to hold aggro. So stick to putting talent points into beast mastery first. I would say put points in that until you get to beastial wrath. Now with those specs you can solo but you gotta use your strengths. Always work inside out...meaning kill everything as you make your way to the middle of any cluster of foes. This will help if they come after you....just lay a trap and let your pet get aggro back so you can pepper them with shots. Also know that inside fighting is not your fortay. The only time a hunter can work inside is to finish off fleeing foes or foes that attack until they die. As for the Rogue....I have put in only a few lvls....23...lol...but in BG I am about 50% / 50% against them but one on one I own. I think cause I understand better what they can do and I avoid their strengths. Rogues also have the sap ability but if you don't kill fast then you will find yourself out numbered. To me Rogues are to dependant on gear to aid in quick kills. This is essential for every Rogue which lends to what are refered to as twinks. Twinks are just characters on WOW that have gear that can't possibly obtained unless one specifically knows what they are doing. Which means you gonna need some friends and gold. So I say go for the Hunter. You plus a pet equals 2 on 1. If you plan right you can take out up to three at once.
Hit me up anytime for strategies for your Hunter. I would be glad to help.

Torell sounds like a cool bro and he definitly knows what hes doing. But...I gotta say, Im a mage and I can pwn any class. And ofcourse any class can pwn others but. As a mage I can sheep the hunters pet and just kill the hunter. If your a frost mage then you will have defense and offense. If your a fire mage your attacks take longer to execute but you will throw some massive damage. PPL hate mages!!! I pwn Rogues by using frost nova to keep them in place. They can be stealthed but if I use frost nova when I predict ther attacks then they just sit there and look pretty while I keep my pimp hand strong. When you fight another magic user you can decurse yourself and use counterattack on them. And as for soloing dungeons...PPFFF. Bro I solo stuff whenever I want. ofcourse to be honest like any other class you have your limits. Like NOBODY can walk into a high lvl dungeon and solo it themselves. But they can sure come close. Its just that the bosses take you out in the end. But since BC came out you have a better chance of soloing dungeons at 70. But trust me bro as a mage you will have high DPS. Everyone docs us because we have clothe armor but bro.....Lets see them talk trash when there Leather, Plate, Mail, and Mythril armor gets trashed by my FrostBolt and Cone of Cold. Think about it and try some stuff out. Try all classes to alteast lvl 20. It shouldnt take long but you will see how each classs will feel like as you lvl. i just love beign able to take on atleast 15 dudes on my own. AOE BABY!!! And as if we werent already kick ***. But now we have a water golemn? OMG!!
