We perceive it with our mind. Our minds and reality are constantly reacting and altering each other. The world existed long before your mind and played it's part in creating your mind.

Living is more transcendent than mind. When you are 60 you won't think much differently than when you're 30. But you're life will be very different.

I think the reason why everything seems so transendent is because 99.9 percent of this world and universe is transcendent(light passes through) another words everything is empty space its all around us.Our living - reality is seen by the visual cortex, not our eyes. In our reality this is were we experience love, hate, smell, tast, laughing etc.. We all observe this everyday and all this does not feel empty. Besides no one realy knows what empty feels like, we all just know the word and cant comprehind the true meaning of empty. So yes we certainly do create our reality constantly every second of our exsistence.

I don't see what this has to do with horoscopes... anyway, in astrology, 'mind' is represented by mercury.

To answer your question, however, we do not create the world with our minds; we alter it's existence with it. We only see what we want to see and it might be different from the person sitting next to you. While you can percieve the world as hostile and dangerous (which is, actually, a basic instinct of all animals) the person next to you might have a different view.

Or more simply put, in a question very much favoured by modern philosophers; how can you really say the sky is blue? (this question isn't favoured by me - to me the sky IS blue, but when you think about it... is it really?)

Put a bit differently; what we see isn't what we get. The eyes are known biologically and psychologically to play tricks on the mind and on the brains constantly. So what we percieve is nearly never what really is.

The world is there, but we create its ambience.

We define the world with our mind. Our living can indeed be transcendent. Take yourself off to a Buddhist monastery grasshopper and enjoy transcendent living. There's one in the Lakes and another in Todmorden.

The mind has many realms, conscious( of the part of the mind that is aware of a persons self surroundings, and thoughts, and to a certain extent determines choices of action...... Subconcious ( the part of the mind that contains memories and motives of which one is not aware but can influence ones behaviour....

The Mind (1; the part of a person responsible for thought, feelings and intentions..2; intelligence as opposed to feelings or wishes..3; memory or recollection i.e. his name didnt spring to mind immediately..4; a person considered as an intellectual being..5; the condition or state of a persons feelings or thoughts i.e. a confused state of mind..6; a sound mental state i.e. sanity..

It goes on and on make up your mind, change your mind, give someone a piece of your mind, on ones mind.......

because we dream a lot cause that hardly takes any effort ,but making them come true, putting all those ideas in action that takes work, that is work.
also man is so paranoid about appreciation and fitting in that even if our mind surpasses competion(or whatever fitting) we just dont rise up,cuase people are afraid to be different.and one becomes a clone of another.
i didnt mean to sound so serious but what the heck!!

yes we create our own reality. but besides all that our consciousness exists on a whole different realm, consciousness is something that really cant be explained but felt. Our body are just tools our consciousness is what controls us and our world, you ever watched what the bleep do we know? they give you a better insight on what you are trying to ask.

We create our own world and usually limit ourselves while doing so. If we could tap into the whole potential of our mind, image what we could do.
