Stay there and learn how to spell correctly, you lot have done enough damage to our language, don't go to England and pollute it more!
Your girlfriend should be embarassed to have a boyfriend with such an obvious lack of education, but, then again, that's probably the standard that most americans receive so don't feel too bad.....

I'm not sure about that. My husband had a British passport when he came here to America to work. We met and ended up getting married. He never had to change his passport, and since then, we've traveled many times between countries. Check with the British immigration laws.

No, an American citizen can't have a passport from another country. Why did you post this in the Philippines category?

Yes you can, but you will have to learn how to spell first.

The person who said Americans can't change citizenship is extremely uninformed. US Citizens can even have dual citizenship if the other country allows it as well.
