In response to Randy G's post:

definition of terror:
'a person who terrorises or frightens others'

if you were an iraqi child or an afghanistani woman (or a vietmanese man in the 60's) and you were being bombed by american bombers, would you not be frightened?

Yeah, I think so. Just the other day i saw Jerry Falwell teaching the little ones (they were so cute) how to donn a bomb vest.

We follow the Geneva Convention, and have intentionally hijacked and flown 0 passenger planes into skyscrapers, used 0 suicide bombers, killed the children in 0 Russian schools, and have beheaded 0 captives.

You figure it out.

Unfortunately.

I mean, what was "Shock and Awe" but an act of terror?

Someone above answered that we abide by the Geneva Conventions -- I wonder what planet that person has been living on, we stopped abiding by the Geneva Conventions in early 2002.

We don't fly planess into buildings, because we have our own planes with bombs (which we drop onto buildings) -- the terrorists of 9/11 didn't have the weaponry to destroy the buildings they flew into.

The torture we've been committing all this time are acts of terror, as their purpose is to tell people that we have no conscience, and will commit any horrific act of brutality we want, to anyone we want, and human decency be damned.

Yes, the US today is the biggest, most powerful, most brutal terrorist organization the world has ever known.

The Bush administration is the worst thing to happen to this country -- at least since the Civil War, possibly ever.

No. you have been listening to the wrong people. The US is fighting terrorists around the world., so they don't come here and blow up your school, and behead all the non-believers. If you are looking for terrorist states look at the middle-east, look at Syria, Iran and Afghanistan (before the US stepped in).
