First you need to memorize it, and then act it in front of your family. Let them tell you feedback and work on those areas. Also if you think you are doing to do fine, then chances are you will be fine! but if u think you are going to be bad, then guess what happens!
hope tis kinda helped!

The very first thing you MUST do is to make sure you have that monologue completely %100 memorized. If the ceiling caves in while you are doing it, you should know it so well that you won't skip a beat. Then add "character". When you are auditioning or performing, if you will look right above the person in the very last rows head, it will look to the rest of the audience as if you are making eye contact (something I do not recommend by the way in an audition or a performance, while performing anyway).
Finally-you will either get it or you won't. But even if you don't, you will gain some much needed experience. My first audition-I auditioned for a supporting lead and got a non-speaking role instead. I took the part and went on to not only do leads but win awards for them as well.
Good luck sweetie and break a leg!

I also have the same problem and I have been in a show. I am in one right now. My first audition was hard but I got through it. I am younger than you but everyone has this problem. There have been plenty of auditions and scenes that I felt confident and I screwed up and I have thought that I would screw up and made it. Sometimes it is what you expect and sometimes it isn't.
Don't be nervous. I did not make it in my first show. I did not screw up but I just didn't get cast.
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT to just focus on your lines and what you have to say next. If you monologue is serious, it is sometimes good to over-play the character. Don't put that much focus on the judges and just let it all out full character,.
Important note:
NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER look the jugdes in the eye when doing your monologue. If you have to focus and look at them just look above their heads.

You need to RELAX. Know your stuff and just do it. Try defocusing your eyes so that you can't really see the people in the room. While in that state, put yourself in the scene your monologue is in and just immerse yourself in your character. Think about your character the entire time and you won't have a chance to think about anything else. If you mess up a word or sentence, don't go back and fix it, don't giggle and apologize, just keep moving forward. Good luck!

You have to be confident. Would YOU cast a nervous person? Look the director straight in the eye. Practice this by looking yourself in the eye (in the mirror.) Put emotion into the monologue...show, don't tell. Be very, very sweet and sincere...they won't cast a total jerk because they won't be fun to be around in a rehearsal. And most important...HAVE FUN!

If you are at a point where you are trying to think of where your eyes or or what your hands are doing, you're not acting. The movements of your eyes, placements of your hands, and the way in which you give forth the monologue are all parts of acting. If you have to think about it, it's not acting.
Feel the words, feel the meaning. If you are feeling this then the movements come NATURALLY and this is what you want.

i think ultimately you have to do something before your audition that relaxes you. For some people it's slowing down their breathing, doing stretches etc... I personally listen to my Ipod and do both. ..There is nothing wrong with being nervous, it is a natural reaction that usually comes when you are under stress.

Perform your audition as many times as you can in front of as many different people as you can in as many places as you can.....then it will be "automatic" since you will BE the character and stop THINKING about the character.
