Go back to the court that placed it and ask that it be lifted or voided.

I don't think it's possible to cancel out an Order of Protection. However, they do usually expire one year after filing.

Go back to the judge's court that instituted it in the first place and request that it be rescinded.

One challenge with protection orders are that no one is around to enforce them when they're needed anyway. One big risk for abused women is that their abusers often get worse when she tries to leave.

Are you certain he has not threatened her into removing the protection order?

Go to the law officer she filed it with. He/she can tell you how or even if she can cancel it.
