I didn't meet my partner on the internet - I met him through friends at church. Besides being handsome and sexy, sweet and adoring, patient and understanding, cooperative and giving, AND a fantastic lover......the one thing that made me fall in love with him was his wisdom - even though he was only 20 when we met, he was wise beyond his years and carried himself as a much older man. That doesn't mean he didn't know how to have fun, just that I zeroed in on his brainpower that was so far above and beyond the other guys who were in the dating pool at the time. After 14 years, I know without a shadow of a doubt that I made the right decision!!

God bless!

The fact that you believe that one thing can make you fall in love with someone is why you should not be using the internet to find love.

I never fell in love with someone from the Internet ...but I made some friends...but it never lasted..we lost touch! The Internet seems so superficial to me...it's a very anonymous way of getting to know people and really you do not know who you are getting to know (probably not who you think it may be)

My husband I met through a personal Internet ad. Every day for one month, he e-mailed me a joke. I had no idea who he was. Finally after a month he started telling me about himself. We met one day for a date, which was a complete disaster (my truck broke down on the way to drop off my kids at their dad's, AND it broke down right where were supposed to meet for our date. The ex-husband had to come get the kids, SO the blind date meets my kids, my ex-husband, and my ex-husbands new wife!) Anyway, we tried a second date a couple of weeks later and we have been married for 6 1/2 years now! AND he bought me a new truck! It was his sense of humor and his ability to deal with suprises that made me fall in love with him.

Didn't meet my hubby online, met him at work six years ago.

The fact that he would do anything for me and that he was willing to wait until I fell in love with him.

...and when I did finally fall in love, it hit me like a ton of bricks!!!

The internet didn't exist back then.

It was her ability to have warm caring conversation.
