This is the error I get after I log on to my myspace.com:

Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.

So I refreshed my cookies a bunch of times and that did not help. So I sent an email to myspace (Sat.) and still no response (Mon). However now when I log in - it goes to a screen as if I am starting a new profile and asking for my basic information but won't go past that screen when I fill it in and hit submit (goes back to the log in page).

Any help would be appreciated....

Try this:

Start > Control Panel > Network Connections > right click your LAN connection and left click Repair.

Also, clear your history, cookies, and temporary internet files in Internet Options.

Now try again.

A lot of people are having trouble getting on myspace. There could be a problem with the site itself.

the problem comes from a corrupted cookie. you could have gotten this by opening a page or a picture or comment that contained spyware/adware. i've had several friends who are not so technically saavy have the same log in problems. what you need to do is clear all the crap off your computer. there's 3 things you can do.

1. download ad-aware, run all the updates and do the customizable scan, enable all the options, and make sure you select it to check low-risk and negligible items (like cookies). when the scan completes, right click and select all and hit next to remove the bad files.

2. download spybot search & destory, run your updates, immunize, and run the scan. select all that it catches. sometimes you will have to reboot and run the scan again to clear out the extra junk

3. use a software like "spyware blaster" to help block bad cookies; run all the updates and enable all the options

restart your computer after all these scans...that should take care of the problem!

Alright, 1st of all if you try an get a hold of tom he will NOT respond back.So dont listen to the 1st brod.If you are having trouble shooting your myspace page try defraging your computer.& make sure when you log in make sure its the myspace home page.If it brings you into another page TO sign in DO NOT I MEAN DO NOT sign in that way becos there are hackers whom can get your password on the other page and set up bulletins you NEVER posted to begin with.(trust me i found out the harder way)
