Not too long ago, one of my straight friends invited everybody on a night out because he was leaving to work abroad for a year. We ended up at a lap-dancing bar....and it's made me think, do such things appear for gay men?
I live in Birmingham, one of the UK's biggest cities and I'm not aware of any such place? Do they exist in the UK? Would you go to one? Are there any in other countries outside of the UK?

I'm not aware of any in the U.S. (I live near Los Angeles). As a member of the bear community, I have to say it's a totally hot idea! Bring on the lap-dancing bears, cubs, and otters!

Oh yes, they are popular amongst the Democrats in the US. The Bologna Pony is very popular in San Francisco. There is a new one in DC where Democrats go and see who can do the most deep knee bends on a special fire hydrant at the end of the Bar. Its called Barney Frank's Sausage Shop and is ran by one of his aids.

Not quite. I went to Old Compton Street in London the other night (quite late) and there was a bar there witha guy dancing on a table (not a patron). He wore a tiny pair of pants and danced quite sexily (but presumably not to be touched) on a table near the door. Young, sexy, brown, muscular. I just sat watching him, thinking that I would like to touch that lovely body, but obviously that was OUT. I think this is what lap dancing is about. You can put money in their pants but that is it.

there are gay lap dancing bars for women: any lap dance bar. they love other women because we are hotter and less skeezy. every time i've been to a strip club they were all over us and pretty much ignored the men. but i've never heard of anywhere with men giving lap dances.
