With any luck, yes.

Every recent sign indicates the Penguins have a good chance of staying in Pittsburgh. The city officials recently revised their offer to the Penguins in the hope of enticing them to stay.

Here in the 'Burgh, as well as in Kansas City and Canada, there have been premature announcements that a deal has been reached, but none have been confirmed and nothing's official.

That said, there sould be a decision soon -- the Pens need enough time to petition the League for permission to leave, which will likely be granted.

The team and the city are trying to work out a deal so that the Pens can stay in Pitt. The odds are that an arena agreement will be worked out, but the Pens fans will have to continue to show their loyalty to the team and city by selling out the Igloo the rest of the year, and contacting all their local politicians demanding a deal gets done.

They're trying their very best to keep them. If not, get ready for the Kansas City Penguins!
