explain to her the circumstances, that u only like her as a ffriend and that u were afraid to say no bcuz u thought u wud have lost a good friend, but u r interested in going with someone else. If she's a good friend, she'll be hurt for a while but she'll get over it, but expect the unexpected, she may start some drama, if she does try to calm her down, if she doesn't calm down just walk away she's mayb not worth it. Do it someplace secluded

Well that is a very hard thing to tell you what is right in less I knew your friend. I will try my best. Make two different dates one for your valentines and one for your friend. Go early with your friend for breakfast and sit down and just say what you feel. Like you are a really great person and I love you for that. You are also a good friend at that. I like you for who you are and what you do so being my friend is all I want. Relationships with good friends are hard. If she's your good friend she'd understand. Love heels alot of things. If she does not like what you have to say she's missing out and does not know what is about o happen. If she understands tell her she's amazing. And discuss with her that you were ask by another and you would like to go to dinner with them. It will be fine if she cares what you want and if not doesn't don't stress she be back around or she just wanted one thing that you know would not work. So do what you feel and be real & just be considerate. Good luck............ Either way it can be resolved. Your friend is a good friend or could be just looking for something that is not there.

DON'T be a fake friend and do something just to appease another. If you honestly do not want to go, you need to be upfront and tell your "friend". Your "friend" isn't much of a friend if you don't like her. She's an aquaintence now. Don't sneak around the subject, tell her how you feel.....
