I left it with my mom for 5 months. She says she would forget to turn it on to keep it running ( she doesn't drive). When I turn the key, I get a faint click, and one very dim light (ABS). No radio. The power seat will move back a little, but not forward. The car is a 1995 T Bird. Automatic. Is it the battery or the starter, or both??? Thanks!

Your battery is probably dead. When you hear the clicking sound that is your solenoid. It doen't have enough juice to start your car. Try to get a jump from somebody or get a charger. It is not uncommon for a battery to go down when sitting idle for a period of time. Because if you have a radio with a clock in it or an anti theft option on your car these will drain the battery ever so slightly and over time could cause the battery to get to low on juice to be able to start your car.

The battery. It drains when unused for a long time. Get a boost. Let it run on park for a few minutes to get the charge back, and recirculate the fluids. Check the fluids and top up if necessary.

It's your battery for sure. Get a jump from someone. If it doesn't hold a charge you may have to buy a new battery.

You either need a new battery, or you must charge the old one.
