He's being an asshole. either he is in a bad mood or he is frustrated with something in his own life. Sometimes people get bored of a routine so if you guys have a routine i.e. having sex at night try it one day in the morning do something crazy to spice things up. This happens to men and women and it doesnt mean you dont love your spouse it just means you need to add a little spice to the relationship. He might have meant that but said it in the wrong way. If he is usually this mean than try counseling some people just dont know how to say things. And i would have been very angry when i heard him say that but once you look at the reasoning behind it you might understand the message although he didnt say as he should have

Yeah. That kind of comment would hit me right in the self-esteem. Sounds like he's asking you to mix it up a little in the sheets. Doing the same thing over and over again is boring no matter what you look like, so incorporate some fantasy or lingerie. Guys don't know how to express themselves sometimes. Perhaps you two should also seek counseling.

Wow, uhm I think I would have been ofended. But he may have just worded it badly, very badly. I think he is asking for something new because he is bored with the same old routine and is having trouble getting turned on. Take him up on the suggestion and buy some hot lingerie. Try something new or that you haven't done in a long time, see if that helps.

First off, it's not you it's him, and this is coming from the male perspective.
I've been married to my wife for 16+ years. We're in our 60's and no one would take a second look at either one of us walking down the street, but I'll tell you this. My wife still turns me on with a look, a smile, a touch, a word.
It doesn't take gimmicks. It takes love.
I'd be looking for the real reason that he's telling you this. You should be real suspicious that someone else has caught his eye.

A man who loves his wife doesn't have this problem. Not ever! Sorry, but he's making excuses for something else. Did you know he was an insensitive clod when you married him? And what a prick to just come out and slam you with it like that. I'd say you two have some real work to do, and quick. The problem may lie in him and not you. Don't let him make you an excuse for his inability to spring into action.

He's being blunt and crude, but honest. It happens. After a man has been with a woman for a while, the excitement just isn't what it used to be. I'm sure you look good. It's not you, it's him.
Forgive his caveman ways and as long as you don't mind, why not try on some lingerie for him?

Are you serious?! I hope you're making this up. Does he plan on getting it somewhere else? If he's so bored why doesnt HE try to spice it up? Why doesnt HE by you lingerie? Why doesnt he suggest something freaky?
I dont understand how you can get tired of something that you're supposed to be enjoying for the rest of your life. You only get one wife. One person to sleep with. There are no other options. Id be very suspicious. If you're hygenic, and your bodily looks basically the same, then I think hes up to something.

I would make sure that I fix my hair, make up and wear low cut clothing everyday. Plan to go on on Friday or Saturday night with the girls, close the bar, go out for breakfast. Come home around 5 am. If he complains, then just tell him that you are intitled for some fun. Do not have sex with him. Wear some sexy nighty to bed every night. Kiss him good night, and turn over. MAke him beg. Do not give in to the first time. Then when you decide to give in, tell him how much he has hurt you. From my own experience with my husband, just telling him does not work. I need to show him how it effects me. For instance, this effects you to makeing you feel not attractive. So, you have to prove it to yourself. Good luck.

Any other problems in your marriage? If not, you are lucky. Look at all the questions from folks who are getting divorced, separated, hurt by a cheating spouse, etc.
A man can love you but still need a bit of visual stimulation.
What's wrong with spicing things up a little? After all, it's only the two of you.

Mabey it's the girls he sees on t.v. men are into the visual,grass always looks greener on the other side--but I could be wrong of course, also this is normal, so he isn't attracted to the faithful women he made vows with?? ask him if he belives the bible, it says ' be content with the wife of your youth'
just be self confident and know that you are a beautiful woman and
he is letting you down by his remarks, you are not letting him down, you cannot change him, and dont try to change yourself, BUT if it's only a matter of sexy clothes, by all means get some, and turn him on, men like that,
