WWE and NFL are alike in some ways. They are both very popular (I know wrestling is fake, but who really cares?). Every week people watch WWE and people watch NFL or other football (during their season), but the one big event in football, where like everyone in the world sit back to watch, The Super Bowl, is for free. Now, I think for the people who can really afford a WWE PPV, not that they're poor maybe cause they don't want to spend $40 on a PPV, I think that Wresltemania and only Wrestlemania PPV's should be for free. Do you agree?

I think they should be free but if they were free you'd get adverts every five minutes when you pay you don't get any adverts.

The super bowl is not "free". You ever watch the super bowl. Your constantly bombarded with ads. Its gotten so bad that the mainstream media focuses more on the super bowl comercials then on the football game. Unfortuanatly, as popular as pro wrestling is, it does not have that same kind of drawn. They are not going to be able to sell multi-million dollar comercial slots, even for Wrestlemania. Also, running on pay-per-view affords the WWE room to do things that can not normally happen on network or even cable tv channels.
