My boyfriend and I have been living together for two years and are kinda on a tight budget as we are saving money to move out to San Diego. I want to have a special valentines day but have no idea what to do. He'll probably have to work all day :(

Cook him his favorite meal, soft music, candle light, some scented body oils for a romantic massage after he worked all day. Make him his favorite dessert to share in bed. Write him a romantic poem and put it in a little dollar store frame for him. Hope I helped!

You can do a number of things that don't cost a lot of money. If you have snow, make a stencil in the shape of a heart (about 12" big). Get some red food coloring and line the snow covered driveway with hearts.

You can buy those little valentines cards. The ones you use to pass out in grammer school. Sign them and put them all of the place for him to find. In his car, clothes, bed, shoes. You get the idea, for $2.00 worth of cards you can had him 30 or forty cards.

Good luck

The first Valentine's Day I spent with my now husband of 10 years when we'd just moved in together we set up the bed in the living room (we only had 1 TV), ordered in Pizza which we ate in bed while watching a movie.

Prepare a nice home cooked meal and make up a real nice Valentine on your computer. Or better yet go to one of the many e-card sites and sent him an e-card valentine
