I just placed this answer for another question about the patch a few minutes ago:

I'm really suprised that you are a new user of the "patch". Ortho Evera was pulled from the shelves in my town due to the high risk and the huge amount of lawsuits towards the company. I was even told that the product was recalled and discontinued completely. Whether this is true I don't know but i've seen several commercials with companies offering their services for women that have had problems while on the patch.

My personal experience with the product, horrible. Sure the product worked and I had no problems with it in itself other then it would peel off my skin from time to time and would have to re-apply a new one which dipped into my "reserves". The problem occured with the afformentioned risks.

I have been put through a series of tests and ultrasounds due to excrusiating pain in my legs due to deep vein thrombosis. I showed signs of extreme blood clots in my blood work with no signs otherwise. I couldn't walk. I had no previous problems with high blood pressure or high cholesterol.

You will get your period in a day or two. If not call your doctor.

I would REALLY recommend finding a different form of birth control. I've heard the nuvaring is quite effective and easy. Some of my girlfriends use it and swear by it. Good luck and Stay SAFE!!

I am on the pill (the same thing as the patch, just a different way of taking it) and I never get my period in Sunday, always 3 days late on Wednesday. I think this is because when you're on birth control, your periods are shorter. So I wouldn't worry about it unless it doesn't come within the next week.

I wouldn't be using the patch though-I did for a few months and it always fell off. It doesn't seem that reliable, but that's just what I've heard.

The Pistons controlled the tempo from the outset and never allowed a crowd of more than 20,000 fans to begin the Super Bowl partying. Detroit kept it quiet by limiting LeBron James' dunks, and any time Cleveland had a defensive breakdown, the Pistons hit an open jumper.

"You make a mistake, they know how to exploit it," James said. "We didn't make too many mistakes, but as soon as you make one, they make you pay for it."

This Pistons' squad is very similar to the one which beat Cleveland last May with one big addition: Webber, who signed with the club as a free agent on Jan. 16 and was facing the Cavs for the first time with his hometown team.

Webber's presence is bad news for the Cavaliers, who don't appear ready to dethrone their northern neighbors. Webber scored 13 points in the first half on 6-of-7 shooting when the Pistons grabbed control and never let go.

"When Ben Wallace was there, you could kind of relax on the offensive end when he was on the floor," James said. "But now they have five guys that can easily score 20 points. They are a much better team with him (Webber)."

Detroit is 7-3 since Webber arrived.

Many doctor's offices will allow you to ask questions like this to the doctor's nurse, so ask to speak to his nurse.

It will usually be a few days after you remove the patch.

You can also Google your question and find great answers all over the web. Here's one: http://www.uhs.uga.edu/sexualhealth/contraception/patch.html

If you ever think something is not normal, call your doctor's office.
