Now that the Super Bowl is over and the Colts are #1 and the Bears are #2 why don't they have some type of loser bracket where the NFC and AFC losers play for 3rd place?

the only reason i would want to see it is cuz of those ppl who say blah blah this and that our team lost but we would have beat whoever, just would be interesting to see pats and saints, etc

Losers brackets are for children or people with an inability to accept defeat. A losers bracket would destroy the win or go home mistique.

the bears arent 2nd in the nfl, theyre just 1st in the nfc. Theres 4 teams in the afc better than the bears.
Why would you want to be 3rd? dont you know thats a worse pick in the draft

Football is a physical sport and the players have a chance of injury on every play. I highly doubt you would get the players to play for the title of third place in the NFL. It is win the big one or go home!
