What is on the very first page?
Mine has a poem called The Waking by Theodore Roethke.
What do you normally write in your journal/diary?
Is it really a place with no boundaries or do you watch what you write in case someone were to find it?
What does it look like?
Mine is brown leatherbound.

I don't know if you would call it a journal, but I have written letters to my son (as a grown man) since the night before he was born... he is 21 now...and I still write them. I plan to give them to him when he has a child of his own.
The first page starts:
Tomorrow I meet you, Robert Daniel....

I keep a journal. The first page has me writing about how I felt that day. I write lots of poems in there as well as just personal feelings and things that are going on in my life. At first I was careful of what i wrote in it just in case someone found it but now I don't care. It's mine and I feel like I shouldn't have to repress any of my feelings or thoughts that I want to write down just in case someone else found it. Mine is brown leatherbound.

I have kept a journal/diary for amny years. I do some bitchin' and moanin' and groanin' in it. I write my hurt feelings in it and I write my attempts at poetry in it and the first page of this years journal hasn't really got anything on it because I have been connected to my computer because of this site! Shame on me! But I am careful of what I write-because I do not want to incrimainate myself!!

I have a journal through Word and I type it every day...but once a month I delete them because after a few weeks - they're no longer revelant. I believe in writing in the moment and then letting go.
