"Macbeth" is the first Shakespeare play that I ever read; I loved it immediately. "The Tempest" is the play I've seen the most. "Hamlet" is great. "A Midsummer Night's Dream" makes me laugh. But, my favorite is not one of the popular ones. As a matter of fact, I've never seen it performed; I've only read it. "Titus Andronicus" - the ultimate in revenge. To get even with Tamora, Queen of the Goths, Titus invites her to a feast - and serves her a pastry containing the flesh of her sons that Titus hacked to pieces and with flour that was made with the ground up bones of her dead sons. Titus avenges disloyalty by digging a deep hole, covering the man with honey and burying the bottom half of him so that he is stung by wasps and bees. It would make a great movie.

I would have to say my favorite is Hamlet. If I had to pick a reason,I would say because I like the way he plots against the king.
