Rini is the future daughter of Queen Serenity (Serena) and King Endymion (Darien). She travels back in time to seek help for her parents kingdom and for her mothers who is unconcious and encased in crystal. She doesnt think of the modern day serena as her mother though; she's more like a big sister to her.

Later on in the series, Rini is revealed to be the daughter of Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask. She is further revealed to be Sailor Mini-Moon as the storyline progresses.

rini came to the 20th century to keep save from the dangers in the 30th century, and to get help from the sailor scouts in the 2nd season, and in the 3rd season she came back to seek for valuable friendships, and also trains as a sailor scout in this season..
