If the stain is fresh, rinse under cold running water until most of the stain is gone. then wash in cold soapy water. If the stain has dried, pour hydrogen peroxide on the stain. when it stops bubbling, repeat. Depending on the stain you may have to soak the garment in cold water with peroxide and detergent before laundering in cold water.

Apply some liquid detergent directly to the stain and apply cold water - rub vigorously. Soak in cold water in the sink for 30 minutes or so and then wash normally. Some stain removers also can work fairly well for blood - but check the label first to see if blood is one of the stains covered by that particular remover. I found the detergent directly on the stain works best.

This works for any organic stain:
1.) Make a paste out of meat tenderizer and a little water.
2.) Using an old tooth brush, scrub the stain with the paste.
3.) Allow to set for a while, possibly over night.
4.) Launder as usual.
The enzymes in the meat tenderizer will "digest" the stain and remove it.
GOOD LUCK!!

Soak in cold water, peroxide, or any "Oxy" laundry product will help get it out. Don't put the item in the dryer until you know the stain is all out... And if it's really stubborn, try using meat tenderizer on it... I know, sounds strange, but I learned that back in Jr High... (Just make sure the meat tenderizer doesn't have any "colored" ingredients--I tried a meat tenderizer that had something red/orange in it as a seasoning the first time, and left a pink/peach orange spot on the white shirt that I then had to remove...)
As for bleach, make sure it is color safe bleach--chlorine beach can only be used on 100% cottons/natural fibers (too strong for silk) as it will turn anything w/a synthetic in it yellow... (Always try a new spot remover on an inconspicuous spot like an inner hem before using on the whole garment if you aren't sure...)

I know this sounds gross, but I swear to god it works and I have been doing it for years. If you spit on the stain and let it soak for a little while and then wash it it will come right out. It has to be the spit from the person whose blood has stained the clothing item, there is something unique to our own enzymes, in our saliva that removes our blood.

if the blood stain is still fresh you can soak it in cold water and scrub. but if the blood stain is hardly dry you must soak it in hot water about 60degree Celsius for about 30 minutes. then change the water with a lukewarm temperature and scrub. you can also use stain remover liquid (color friendly) to completely vanish the stain.

i just posted a question regarding laundry and cleansing regarding the same issue. my cousin told me yesterday that dabbing coca-cola (yes, the soft drink) will easily remove blood stains (even if they are dry). He says that in some states, Highway Patrol officers carry 2 gallons of coca-cola in their trunk so that they can clean up blood stains from crime scenes. He wouldn't make this up. Try it and let me know.

if you can get the item off while its still wet with blood put it in cold water and rub as much out as you can leep it soaking if possible until you can put it in the washer. I have found that Tide seems to get everything out of our clothes better. pretreat with a few drops rub it in good and wash as usual.
