If George W Bush is so criticezed, it's probably that he was elected again through corruption, isn't it?.Here in Brazil, although there is very corruption unfortunatelity, it's pratically impossible to happen it during the elections! because since 2000 we use a type of eletronic ballot box. It's easier to vote and more security the poll. For more information enter in: beirut.indymedia.org/ar/2006/10/5741.shtml - 15k

Unfortunately, I wonder if the electronic ballot could be manipulated. I hope that isn't the case. Pres. Bush was elected, and it wasn't through corruption. While there was some questions about the process in Florida, he was elected and there wasn't any manipulation of the votes. It was checked and rechecked by the courts and the press.

I saw them diebold machines in photos in Brazil loaded on a fishing boat to across to the village to set up election. I like Lula thou hes seems like Joe six pack running the country. Unfortnately the democrats have nothing of that type of person to get voted in America. The country that invented computer rigged elections was Mexico in 1988 when Cardenas should of won not Salines. I think the election in 2000 was a flute, and elections are dirtier at the local level because some polticans will write rules to ensure thier reelected, but that game backfires when over 60% of the population votes you out. The best way to have a fair election is paper ballot, or electronic ballot with paper repiect to let you know who ya voted for.

Why don't you comment about Brazilian politics?
George Bush didn't win a second term by corruption. He won because the American people voted for him. Just saying a vote is corrupt doesn't make it so. Our Democrats were so surprised that he won ,they had to blame it on something. The Democrats are counting their votes as we speak. Won't they be surprised when they lose again?

if Americans were voting in Brazil we would show you how easy it is to reprogram those electronic voting machines. It can be done in the booth or by poll worker. The only reliable voting machine is the optical scanner type as this leaves a paper trail that can be recounted later that wasn't computer generated.

Electronic ballot boxes can be manipulated also.
We need paper ballots and hired public accounting or legal firms like they do for the oscars.
Even with that system there is room for tampering!

Sadly, it seems no way is fool proof (pun intended)!!

President George W. Bush is the best president we have had in many, many years because he is a CHRISTIAN!!! We need more christians not more parties. I don't care if they are democratic, republican, or purple with pink polka dots. We need more CHRISTIANS.
